Plodinec's was a store in Aliquippa for years. And I remember it. The phone number of the store is on the ashtray. I think it closed in the 80's. The ashtray measures 4 1/2" long x 3 3/4" x 1".

BEFORE THERE WERE MALLS, EVERYONE BOUGHT THEIR FURNISHINGS LOCALLY AND PLODINEC'S WAS ONE OF THE BEST FURNITURE STORES AROUND.  THIS IS A FANTASTIC PIECE OF ALIQUIPPA, PA HISTORY AS UNFORTUNATELY, NOT MUCH IS LEFT OF THE OLD THRIVING BUSINESS DISTRICT OF THE 1950'S WHEN THE STEEL MILL WAS AT ITS PEAK.
