STERLING BARONIAL FLORENTINE GORHAM CENTERPIECE VASE or ROSE BOWL
Presented is an
impressive
rare Gorham combination centerpiece bowl or va
s
e with flower arranging grill. The decoration is similar to that used on Gorham's highly collectible Baronial or Florentine patterns. Made of sterling silver it is finely decorated and the design is crisp and detailed. Made by renowned American silversmiths Gorham it is decorated with a pattern of birds and pendant floral swags. There is a flower arranging grille or frog in the center made of base metal which has been gold plated.
It is heavy for the size and with no dents,  no dings, a discrete monogram to one of the three cartouches on the silver portion. The gold plated  flower arranger has a couple of dents in it. Not very obvious. The arranger is not sterling and is not included in the weight. In the third picture it looks like it is sitting crooked it is not it is only the camera angle.
