    Description

    Authentic 1970's U.S. Navy UDT/ Seal uniform insignia set. The miniature uniform badge made by made by famous maker, "Denmarks" of N.Y. with their Vietnam War period "D22" makers mark with backwards "N". The UDT badge is the official uniform size, and the small badge is the official "mess dress" uniform size - also classified as the "miniature" badge. The UDT Badge is unmarked, and is the "drilled" hole variant that has been the topic of much conversation and debate on the militaria forum website. The popular consensus is this badge was a late 1970's restrike and was likely produced in Southern California. This badge is NOT a modern copy as found on this site and others. There were likely only a few hundred of the original issue Gold UDT badges produced as there were just a handful of UDT/Seal officers that rated them. These older SEAL badges rarely surface, and this set is in exceptional condition as shown
