    Description

    Japanese Brush Painted Arita Plate Late 19th Century.
    Arita ware Japanese porcelain is made in the area around the town of Arita, in the former Hizen Province, northwestern Kyūshū island. This is a shallow plate with a blue and white glaze. The string on the back to hang is old and may need replacing. In good condition. No chips or cracks.
