    Description

    Japanese Meiji bronze charger.
    At some point the charger was transformed into a wall sconce and candle holder.  It appears that the candleholder portion is attached to the back of the plate.  It's unclear whether it is removable.  Beyond that, the details on the brass candleholder are amazing in and of themselves.
    The charger measures 12" across.  Vertically from the top of the embellishment to the bottom of the elephant's tusk measures 17"
