    Used - Excellent condition - no cracks or crazing.  One plate has a small chip on the front - please see last two pictures.  The glazing is smooth, shiny and in great condition.
    Each plate - 12 1/8"W x 2 3/4"H at rim - 2 3/4 lb each.
    Listed here are 5 large 12 1/4" Sometsuke (Blue & White) porcelain plates, hand painted and signed.  The top side scene features a sansui (landscape) motif depicting two central large trees set in a beautiful mountainous area using different shades of the under glaze blue.  A ruyi based trim design (see pic) over a light blue borders the rim to frame the scene.  Great visual interest.  The underside has four blue rings and is signed in the central section (see pic).  Each piece also has one spur from where it sat in the kiln, characteristic of Japanese porcelain.
